Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our services.
Submitting a request for an appointment does not guarantee that your booking has been confirmed. You will receive a confirmation email once your appointment has been successfully booked in our system. If you haven’t received anything, please contact us on 01483 967670 or email office@hillviewphysio.com to ensure your booking has been made.
Please note that even after your appointment is confirmed, there may be rare occasions when we need to contact you to make changes. We aim to keep these adjustments to a minimum and appreciate your understanding should this happen.
24-hour notice: You must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment to avoid a cancellation fee.
Late arrivals: Arriving late may result in a shortened treatment time.
Missed appointments: Failure to attend an appointment will result in a charge.
Consent for treatment: New patients and those we have not treated for over six months need to complete a Patient Registration Form.
Payment: Payment is typically due immediately after treatment. However, in some cases (such as Black Friday sports massages and other promotions), payment is taken prior to the appointment.
Insurance: You must seek pre-authorisation before attending an initial physiotherapy appointment. Where a pre-authorisation code is not provided, we shall ask for a payment on the day. If you subsequently acquire retrospective cover with an authorisation code, then any payment due back to you can be refunded as soon as your insurance pays the clinic, minus any costs, excesses, etc.
For certain insurers we are not able to bill them directly and in those cases we will make you aware and we will ask you to pay for your own treatment and to seek reimbursement directly from your insurer. We can provide any receipts required. Be aware that not all insurers will reimburse you the full amount of your appointment according to your policy terms.
Shortfalls and excess: Patients are responsible for any shortfalls in payment from their insurance provider.
Insurance authorisation: You are responsible for keeping track of your authorised number of sessions, though the clinic will try to help with this.
Physiotherapist registrations: All our physiotherapists are members of the HCPC (Healthcare Professionals Council) and the CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy)
Your responsibility: Any exercises given to you are at your own risk when performed at home.
Safety: If you feel any discomfort during home exercises, stop immediately and consult your therapist.
From injuries and muscle issues to post-surgical recovery, our goal is to help you move better, feel better, and recover faster.
