Covid-19 - Face to Face Appointments

If it is appropriate for you to come in to clinic for a face to face appointment, there will be some changes in the way we operate in Clinic. We are following the advice and guidelines from the Government and our governing body The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, not only for your safety but for ours too.

Please read the following carefully.

  • Shortly after booking your appointment you will be emailed a Covid-19 consent form.

  • You will be called the day before your appointment - to check you, and all members of your household are well.

  • Upon arrival, please wait in your car or outside the building if you are a pedestrian – we ask that you only arrive 5 minutes before your appointment to give plenty of time to register your car once you come in to the clinic.

  • When your physiotherapist’s last patient has left the building and their treatment room has been thoroughly disinfected, you will be called and invited to enter the clinic. - During this call you will again be asked if you are well and asked to confirm that nobody in your household has become ill.

  • Upon entering, your temperature will be taken, you will be asked to thoroughly sanitise your hands and put on a face mask provided.

  • You will be assessed at the end of your treatment for validity of continued Face to Face treatment, as set out by Public Health England.

  • We ask that you arrive promptly to your appointment, so as to not to delay other patients sessions.

  • Only the patient will be allowed entry, unless accompanied by a carer or guardian if under 16.

May we ask, if at any point, before your appointment, you or any household member develops any Covid -19 symptoms, you notify us immediately.

If you would like to see what it is like to visit our clinic during these times, please watch the video.

We hope to see you soon.
